#mydigitalmaker Fair 2017 to propel Malaysia towards the digital era

#mydigitalmaker Fair 2017, a celebration of innovation, technology and creativity to commemorate students' achievements in covering various elements of digital technology, will be held for the first time this Sept 16 and 17.

The event, organised with the Petrosains Science Festival 2017, is the result of the collaboration between the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), Communications and Multimedia Ministry and the Education Ministry to drive Malaysia towards the digital era.

The festival, which will take place at Hall 6 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, aims to inspire the public, especially students, teachers and parents to join the #mydigitalmaker movement to learn about the changing world of technology through fun and exciting ways.

Featuring digital technology elements such as robotic, 3D printing, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and data analysis, the festival would expose students to career opportunities in the digital technology world from renowned tech companies as well as offering opportunities to students to study at academic institutions which are involved in the #mydigitalmaker movement.
