Najib breaks fast with Ulama, Umara, Islamic NGO leaders

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak tonight attended the breaking of fast with Ulama, Umara and Islamic non-governmental organisation (NGO) leaders at his official residence in Seri Perdana here.
Also present were Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom and his deputy Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.
After the breaking of fast, the Prime Minister performed the Maghrib prayers which were led by Imam Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan Sheikh Rami Al-Badawi.
After the prayers, Najib continued to enjoy the breaking-fast meals along with more than 1,300 guests, including the asnaf (needy) and orphans.
At the event, Najib also handed out Hari Raya donations to 120 orphans from Rumah Bakti Datuk Haron, Hulu Kelang, Selangor, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur, Bandar Tasik Puteri, Rawang and Badan Kebajikan Siti Khadijah, Klang.
After the breaking of fast, Najib and the guests performed Isyak and Tarawih prayers and moreh with the congregation.
