Najib continues to obtain unwavering support from govt leaders

Various parties have continued to express unwavering support for the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to continue leading the country.
Gerakan expressed solid support for Najib and called on all parties to give full support to the Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman, seen as the best person to lead the country.
It's president Datuk Mah Siew Keong said Malaysians must be confident in Najib's leadership to ensure the country continues to remain in the mainstream of development to become a developed nation and achieve Vision 2020.
"I am confident of the prime minister's leadership because he has brought much transformation which has been positive for our country. He has worked relentlessly to develop the country even though he was facing a political landscape which had changed a lot in the past 10 years," he said in a statement here on Wednesday.
The Indian Progressive Front (IPF) has expressed full confidence and support for Najib's leadership as he had always defended the welfare of the Indian community and society as a whole.
IPF president Datuk M. Sambanthan said all party members fully supported the prime minister who was seen leading the political, economic and social transformation of the country.
"Datuk Seri Najib has brought many changes to the Indian community...In terms of education, the government has looked into the needs of the Indian community..." he told Bernama here, Wednesday.
The MCA also expressed full support for Najib's leadership and refused to entertain any criticism against him.
MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the focus of the party, as a member of the BN component, was on working with Umno to develop the country.
"We will give our full support to Datuk Seri Najib. We are very focused on developing the country, together with Umno and BN, and will not allow any attack to undermine our stand to develop this country," he said.
Earlier, several other parties, including Puteri Umno, Malaysian Senators' Council, BN members of parliament and all Perak state assemblymen expressed similar stance in supporting Najib.
