Najib expresses his condolences to Hishammuddin and family
Tun Suhailah passed away at the Damansara Specialist Hospital. She was 82.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has expressed condolences to Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein over the passing of the latter's mother, Tun Suhailah Mohamad Noah.
In a post on his Facebook account, Najib said he shared in the grief over the loss of Tun Suhailah, who is also his aunt.
"I was shocked at the news of the passing of my aunt, Tun Suhailah Mohd Noah, the mother of Hishammuddin Hussein, early today.
"My condolences to Hishammuddin Hussein and family; I share in the grief. Praying for the repose of her soul. Al-Fatihah," he wrote.
Tun Suhailah, widow of Malaysia's third prime minister Tun Hussein Onn, died at 12.30am today at the KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital. She was 82.
