Najib hopes RM500 special assistance will help civil servants during Aidilfitri

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said he hoped the RM500 Special Financial Assistance announced yesterday will help the 1.6 million civil servants in the country in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration.
"I had announced payment of the Special Financial Assistance of RM500 to civil servants Grade 54 and below while government pensioners will receive RM250.
"Insya-Allah, this special government assistance will somewhat help civil servants in conjunction with Aidilfitri," the Prime Minister said his latest Facebook posting today.
Some 743,000 government pensioners will receive the RM250 assistance. Payment of both assistance will be made on Monday (June 13).
