Najib receives courtesy call from US Defence Secretary

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak received a courtesy call from United States' Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel here today.

Hagel, accompanied by his chief of staff Mark Lippert and the US Embassy's Charge d'Affaires Lee McClenny, spend about 45 minutes with Najib.

Also present were Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein and Malaysian Armed Forces chief Gen Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin.

Hagel, who arrived yesterday, is on a three-day visit to Malaysia as part of his four-nation trip to Southeast Asia.
