Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been described as an extraordinary individual.
According to his deputy, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Najib is a leader who always sees the good in others.
"Although we may have heard something about someone, Datuk Seri Najib always choose to ignore the 'bad stuff' and focus on the good in a person," said Ahmad Zahid.
He deemed Najib's extraordinary personality might be fated as he was destined to face tremendous challenges.
"Despite all that, he remains calm and collected at all times. For me, he is an extraordinary person," Ahmad Zahid said.
He was sharing his personal memories of the nation's top leader at the launching of the coffee table book "Najib Razak 40 Years 40 Pictures" at KL Sentral today.
The launching ceremony was in conjunction with the anniversary of Najib's involvement in politics, which began on Feb 21, 1976.
Najib became the Pekan Member of Parliament, replacing his late father, Tun Abdul Razak Hussein, who was also the country's second prime minister.
