Tweets by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak were the most retweeted for about five hours on Tuesday.
The position was shown on the big screen at Kongress Zentrum Building where the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2013 will be held for five days, beginning Wednesday.
Najib, who is also finance minister, was at the far front, followed by authors Sant Jordi Asociados and Paolo Coelho, Italy Prime Minister Mario Monti, columnist, The New York Times, USA, Nicholas D. Kristof and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Right Start Foundation International, Amr Khaled.
They are the participant of the Forum and their twitter activities are monitored by WEF.
The active retweets by Najib's followers are believed to be linked to the prime minister while he was in Gaza, Palestine.
Najib said that he was following his heart to visit Gaza and be with the Palestinian people.
The prime minister is scheduled to arrive in Davos City, an extreme contrast in weather from Gaza, on Jan 24.
