Najib saddened over tragedy that befell seven tahfiz students

The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today expressed his grief over the tragedy which took the lives of seven tahfiz (religious school) students in an accident at Kuala Krai, Kelantan, Friday morning.
" I am saddened to learn that seven tahfiz students lost their lives in an accident in Kelantan this morning. My condolences to their families. Al-Fatihah," said Najib in his official Twitter site tonight.
In the incident at about 9.40am, a van carrying 12 students and two teachers from Maahad Tahfiz Al-Hashimi in Kampung Tualang skidded before crashing into a house at Kilometre 55 Jalan Kuala Krai-Kota Bharu.
Seven students died while seven others were injured including five in serious condition.
The dead victims were Mohd Hakimi Mohd Dahlan, 17, Ahmad Farhan Zulkifli, 14, Mohamad Hafiz Aimullah Mustafa, 18, Muhammad Rahman Rozali, 18, Nik Shah Jehan Nik Azmi, 16, Nik Ahmed Daniel Nik Ahmed Rithaudeen, 14, and Thai student, Sarifuddin Muhammad whose age was not known. - BERNAMA
