Najib thanks those on duty during CNY

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said he is thankful to members of the security forces and other agencies who are on duty during the Chinese New Year festive period.
In his latest posting on his Facebook page, Najib said their sacrifices while other Malaysians were enjoying the holidays was highly valued.
"I take this opportunity to thank members of the police force, military, fire and rescue personnel, doctors and their support staff and all others who will be working during the holidays to look after the people's wellbeing and security.
"Your sacrifices are deeply appreciated," he said.
The Prime Minister also urged Malaysians to spend the holidays with their families and on activities that will strengthen family bonding.
"Definitely many would have planned various interesting activities over the long weekend. I hope all can spend quality time with their loved ones," he said.
