Najib, who arrived at 12.45 pm, spent about 15 minutes with Bung Moktar accompanied by the hospital's Medical Director, Consultant ENT Surgeon Dr Kuljit Singh.
Bung Moktar's wife, Datin Nor Asidah Alimuddin, when met by Bernama, said her husband was receiving treatment at the medical centre for the past two weeks after undergoing a kidney transplant abroad.
"His condition is improving and doctors advised him to rest," she said.
Najib also visited another patient, Mohd Nawawi Mohd Arif, 26, from Pekan, Pahang who was hospitalised for a viral infection.
