Najib visits quake-hit Sabah

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak flew in to Sabah today to visit Ranau and Kundasang which are recovering from an earthquake that occurred last Friday.
Najib, who arrived in a special aircraft, was welcomed at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport by, among others, Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman; Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Joseph Pairin Kitingan and Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.
The prime minister then took a helicopter ride to Ranau.
He is expected to visit the Ranau Police headquarters and then attend a briefing at a Liwagu restaurant.

Najib is also expected to hand over aid to several victims and relatives of those who were killed in the 6.0-magnitude earthquake. Sixteen people were killed in the earthquake and two are missing.
