Naked body of man found in waters off Guar Perahu

The nude body of a man was found in the waters off Guar Perahu, Kampung Labuh Banting, Wednesday morning.

North Seberang Perai District Police chief ACP Abdul Rahman Ibrahim said the body was found after receiving information from members of the public at 11.30am.

"It is understood that the man, whose personal particulars are not known, had drowned two to three days ago. There were no signs of injury on the body of the victim who is believed to be a foreign national, based on the talisman he had," he told reporters here.

Abdul Rahman said the body was sent to the Kepala Batas Hospital for post-mortem and urged anyone with information to contact the nearest police station to help investigations.
