Naked man found dead in hotel room

The body of a man without any clothes on was found in a budget hotel room at Jalan Padang Garong, in Kota Bharu.

Kota Bharu police chief Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Azham Othman said that the man, in his 30s, was believed to have been dead for a few days.

He added that police rushed to the scene after receiving a call from a hotel worker who discovered the body at about 1pm on Tuesday.

The victim, believed to be Malay man, was sent to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II for post mortem.

Investigations are underway to see if there were any criminal elements in the man’s death.
