'Nasi kandar' accountant reported missing since May 26
The last time the restaurant workers saw Singamuthu was at 10.45am on May 26, when he left the restaurant in a car.
An Indian national who has been residing in Taman Chai Leng for the past 12 years with his family, has gone missing since May 26.
Perai police station chief, Insp Mohd Asli Md Dol said C. Singamuthu, 41, from Sendakkottai, India was working as an accountant in a 'nasi kandar' restaurant in Perai.
"The last time the restaurant workers saw Singamuthu was at 10.45am on May 26, when he left the restaurant in a car.
"Since then, the man who is married to a Malaysian and worked at the restaurant for the past 10 years, has not returned home," he said here Tuesday.
He said the car in which Singamuthu was last seen in, was found in good condition in Parit Buntar, Perak on Monday.
Those with information on the accountant's whereabouts have been urged to contact Police Sergeant Tan Shook Fung at 012-4301319 or the nearest police station.
