Nazri-Tun M debate: UMNO, BN members need not attend

UMNO members and supporters of Barisan Nasional need not attend the debate between Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The debate is scheduled to take place this Saturday.

“I want to tell UMNO and BN supporters there is no need to come. I have no problem, I can handle," he said when met at Parliament lobby today.

“I am not going to debate with UMNO member but to an Opposition. I want them to listen to me," he added.

The debate is scheduled to be held at Nazri’s constituency of Padang Rengas in Kuala Kangsar, Perak.

Dr Mahathir had challenged Nazri to debate on several important issues on March 10.
