A Nepalese man was found dead believed murdered in a rented room at Lorong Rusa, Jalan Bukit Ubi, here yesterday evening.
Kuantan police chief ACP Abdul Aziz Salleh said the victim was discovered with head wounds believed struck by a heavy object by his girlfriend while visiting the victim at 4 pm.
"The woman, who is also a foreigner in her 20's, later reported the incident to police before a forensic team rushed to the murder scene.
"The victim who was still being identified had been sent to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital here for post-mortem," he said when contacted here today.
Police are still investigating the motive of the murder and the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. -- BERNAMA
