New cases of COVID-19 rise to four figures again; here are the main focus of MOH statement today

KUALA LUMPUR:Two states recorded the highest daily COVID-19 cases on Thursday, namely Sabah with 660 cases, followed by Selangor (407 cases), said Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The increase in cases in Selangor was due to the Lotus Cluster (245 cases) and a new cluster, namely the BJ Cotton Cluster (55 cases).
Both clusters are workplace-related clusters involving non-citizens.
The following are the five focus from MOH media statement today
1. Four new clusters have been identified, namely BJ Cotton Cluster, Prestige Cluster, Bah Bercham Cluster and Kiambang Cluster.
2. Six clusters have been declared expired, namely Umboo Cluster, Bah Mutiara Cluster, Khazanah Cluster, Jalan Pantai Cluster, Bah Bangat Cluster and Bah Kasturi Cluster.
3. 110 patients were being treated in the ICU, 37 cases in need of respiratory assistance.
4. A total of 1,290 new cases bring the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Malaysia to 51,680.
5. A total of 878 recovery cases were reported, bringing the cumulative number of cases recovered to 38,132.
