KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's COVID-19 cases continue to surge with another 20,939 infections registered within the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported today.
According to the Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the overall total of cases now stands at 2,996,361 since the pandemic started in the country.
According to the MOH’s latest data, ten more people have died in Malaysia from COVID-19, taking the country’s overall fatalities to 32,075.
Meanwhile, a total of 12,926,703 individuals or 55.2 per cent of the nation's adult population, have received the booster dose as of yesterday.
