Newly appointed Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali has announced the new state exco line-up after receiving consent.

"I have met the Sultan of Selangor on Sept 25 at 3pm to obtain his consent on the new line-up," stated Azmin in a statement today.

The new lineup saw PAS representative seats reduced from four to three.

The three PAS exco members announced are Iskandar Samad (Cempaka), Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi (Sijangkang) and Zaidy Abdul Talib (Tmn Templer) while those who dropped are Selat Kelang assemblyman Dr Halimah Ali and Sabak representative Sallehin Mukhyi.

The new line-up of exco members from DAP and PKR meanwhile are Elizabeth Wong (Bukit Lanjan), Dr Daroyah Alwi (Sementa), Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad (Seri Setia) and Amiruddin Shari (Batu Caves), Datuk Teng Chang Khim (Sungai Pinang), Ean Yong Hian Wah (Seri Kembangan), V.Ganabatirau (Kota Alam Shah).

He stated that the swearing-in ceremony of the new lineup will be held at the Istana Alam Shah at 3pm today.

Azmin also stated that YB Tuan Nik Nazmi bin Nik Ahmad had resigned from his post as the Selangor State Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker.

" YB Tuan Nik Nazmi bin Nik Ahmad had resigned from his post as the Selangor State Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker. It has been agreed that the post will now be held by PAS as a representative of Pakatan Rakyat," stated Azmin.
