A newborn baby girl was found on the grass behind a house in Kampung Logah, Jalan Medoi, here today.
A newborn baby girl was found on the grass behind a house in Kampung Logah, Jalan Medoi, Saturday.
A villager found the baby lying prone on the grass at 7am after hearing its cries as he passed by the area, said village chief Hassan Sitam, 66.
He said a police report was lodged and the baby was sent to Segamat Hospital.
Segamat Police chief Supt Mohd Kamil Sukarni, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
