Newborn found dumped at Klang playground

A nude newborn baby with its umbilical cord still attached was found abandoned at a playground in Kota Bayu Emas, Klang near here, today.
Kelang Selatan district police chief ACP Azman Abdul Razak said a factory worker who was on his way to work at about 8am, found the baby boy under a shelter at the playground.
"He then informed a resident in the area of the discovery and the resident lodged a police report," he said in a statement.
Azman said police believed the baby was newly delivered as there were traces of blood on the infant's body.
The baby was sent to the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang for observation, he added.
He said police were in the midst of tracking down suspects involved and urged those with information to report to the police.
