Newborn's body found in mall's car park

The body of a newborn baby girl was found in a swarm of ants at the car park of a shopping centre in Bukit Tinggi here Friday.

South Klang district police chief ACP Kamarulzaman Mamat said the baby, who seemed normal but without any clothes, was found by members of the public in a prostrate position and covered with newspapers and a red plastic at 7.52am.

"The body, found with the umbilical cord as well as the placenta still intact was sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital here for post-mortem," he said when contacted.
