News: C-Class owners, you’re not affected

Owners of the new C-Class are not affected by the Europe recalls. By Jerrica Leong

Mercedes-Benz has released a statement to all Malaysians who have purchased the new C-Class, informing them that they can rest assured that they can keep their cars to themselves as they are not affected by the steering problems that plague Europe.

All C-Class vehicles sold in Malaysia from authorised dealers have been checked and cleared prior to the launch and delivery of vehicles to customers in Malaysia. As the recalls was issued in September before the launch of the new C-Class in Malaysia.

Thanks to the prior warning Mercedes-Benz Malaysia sent all vehicles to undergo the necessary quality and safety checks before sending the cars off to their respective owners. All customers who purchased the new C-Class that was launched in September this year from Mercedes-Benz authorised dealers can rest assured.
