KUALA LUMPUR:The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) denies the authenticity of a news with the headline “COVID-19: Pelitup Muka Jenis Fabrik Punca Dijangkiti” (COVID-19: Fabric Face Masks Cause of Infection) as viralled on social media.
MOH said the headline is inaccurate and confusing.
The fake news notification was issued by the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM) Quick Response Team at 12.45 pm today.
In this regard, MOH advises the public to refer to the official MOH social media on Facebook (MINISTRY OF HEALTH MALAYSIA), Twitter (KKMPutrajaya) and Instagram (Ministry of Health Malaysia) to obtain authentic information.
