News: Naza Kia opens up Red Cube in Rawang
Five Red Cubes and counting for Kia. By Arvind Kumar
Kia is growing. In the face of volatile market environments and intense competition from rival automakers, KIA is still pushing forward. For 2014, they plan to put 11,300 more cars on our roads and currently are already 68% of the way there. Therefore, paramount to KIA’s rapid expansion plans are their Red Cube 4S centres.
The Rawang Red Cube centre, built at a cost of RM11 million will house sales, service, spare parts and body and paint services within its vast 37,314 square-foot facility. In addition, customers will also enjoy a customer lounge, delivery bay area, playground room, free WIFI, and internet stations during their visits to the Red Cube.
The Rawang Red Cube is the fifth of its kind in the country and the second in the Klang Valley earmarked to service customers from the Selayang, Rawang, Sungai Buloh and Tajung Malim vicinities. The Red Cube sports 21 service bays with capacity to service up to 50 cars per day and the shiny showroom floor can house up to six cars at a time.
At the launch, it was noted that Kia has been awarded the 74th place in Interbrand’s recent survey of the 100 'Best Global Brands 2014' marking a nine place jump-up from last year. Kia Motors Corporation's brand value has also skyrocketed by 480% from US$929 million to US$5.4 billion since 2007.
