Reports claiming the death of billionaire Robert Kuok’s wife is false, reported local news portal The Star Online.

Sources close to the family apparently told the portal that the woman was not Kuok's wife, Ho Poh Lin.

According to Yonhap news agency, the 65-year-old, identified by her initial G, was found dead in a room at Hotel Shilla in central Seoul at about 12:45 pm due to heart failure.

G was there to attend her daughter’s wedding next week.

Kuok is one of Malaysia's richest persons, according to Forbes, a position he has held since 2006.
