News: What did Honda change for on the Civic?
We’re all curious about what Honda did to the face-lifted Civic, let’s list them down. By Jerrica Leong
- The price. Honda announced that the Civics will receive a reduction in price. The 1.8-litre S is now at RM113,800, 2.0L S is at RM125,800 and 2.0L Navi is at RM132,800.
- A more aggressive front end. Honda has fitted their new Civic with a new front grille and lower grille.
- The 1.8-litre variant comes with 16in alloy wheel and the 2.0-litre is upgraded to 17-in wheel rims to help the car look even more menacing.
- Interior refinement includes the interior door handle where the thickness and quality of material has been improved by 30% and the 2.0L Navi variant is refined with ‘Piano Black Finish’.
- The 2.0L Navi is also further enhanced with a futuristic cockpit featuring 7” Display Audio with Navigation, HDMI and MirrorLink.
- All variants are given the advanced Smart Entry with Push Start Button upgrade as well.
- Of course, being Honda and their importance for safety, safety features are also given an upgraded to include six airbags.
- There’s a new colour as well! It is known as Twilight Blue as seen in the pictures.
And that is quite a long list of upgrades. Not to forget that the Civic will carry an attractive after-sales service package of 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage, service interval of 10,000 km and free labour service up to 6 visits for every alternate paid service until 100,000km.
