Nick Vujicic, the motivational speaker born with tetra-amelia syndrome will be sharing his inspirational life story with students of the Sunway Education Group today.
This Tuesday morning event is presented by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation and Sunway University.
Vujicic suffered a rare disorder characterised by the absence of all four limbs. Despite struggling mentally, physically and emotionally as a child, he managed to come to terms with his disability and started his own non-profit organisation at the age of 17.
“Faced with countless challenges and obstacles, God has given me the strength to surmount what others might call impossible,” he wrote on his website.
Vujicic is the founder of ‘Life Without Limbs’ and travels the world to give inspiration and hope to others, not allowing his disability to stop him from living his life to the fullest.
He is currently on a world tour, speaking at several Asian countries such as Japan and the Philippines. After Malaysia, he is set to fly to Vietnam, Cambodia, Macau, Hong Kong, and Korea.
The Astro AWANI team will be part of his audience member on Tuesday morning and we will provide LIVE updates from this inspiring event on AstroAwani.com and Twitter @501Awani.
