Nine-year-old child reported missing has been found

A nine-year-old child reported missing since Tuesday night from Kampong Bendang Baru, here has been found.

Nor Farizul Afiq Nor Lizan was found by his uncle not far from his home at 4pm on Friday and brought to the police station.

Afiq said on the night of the incident, he left home with a friend.

He said, since he left home, he loitered around a supermarket, ate at his friend’s foster sister’s house and slept in a surau.

Langkawi Crime Investigation Division chief, ASP Tuan Bee Anak Amba said that no criminal elements had been found in relation to the case.
