The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has not received any application to hold the wild party 'Topless Friday Beach Party,' scheduled on Friday.
Kuala Lumpur City mayor Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib said, if there were, DBKL would not approve such application and premise operators would have their license revoked.
"We have never approve (application) and we will issue show cause letter to the club owner and it must respond accordingly within a week on why their license cannot be revoked," he said.
He said the organisers had been instructed to remove all the poster campaign.
The party is scheduled for this Friday starting at 8pm in a nightclub on Jalan Ampang, with women being asked to dress in skimpy clothing or bikini and shorts for men.
Meanwhile, Wangsa Maju police chief Supt Nor Azman Muhammad Yusuf when contacted, said the police would take stern action against the organisers if they were adamant to continue with the party.
"It is considered as illegal party as there is no approval from City Hall. Stern action will be taken against the organisers if they proceed," he said.
Nor Azman said the police has received information on the party's advertisements that had gone viral on social websites over the past few days.
"After receiving information, we will continue to investigate and forward the findings to City Hall for further action," he said.
