No compromise on policemen who tarnish image of police force - Selangor CPO

Immediate transfer and further investigations are being carried out against the two policemen who were under the influence of alcohol when on duty which went viral on Facebook.

However, Selangor Police chief Datuk Mohd Shukri Dahlan did not furnish further information on the identity of the two policemen, or where they were transferred.

"The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) view seriously offences committed by any of its members, who are found to have neglected their duty to protect society.

"We will also not protect and compromise with officers and personnel who have committed offences which can tarnish the image of the force," he said in a Facebook post on PDRM Selangor’s official page.

According to Bernama, he also urged the public to report if they found any police officers or personnel who had committed offences and who did not demonstrate the appropriate level of integrity.
