No decision yet on next year's haj - TH

KUALA LUMPUR:Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) said today it had yet to receive any official information related to next year's haj pilgrimage from the Saudi Arabian authorities.

In this regard, TH executive director (Haj) Datuk Seri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman had urged the people not to be influenced by any information related to the implementation of the 2021M/1442H haj which was spread on the social media over the past few days.

"The minister (Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri) and the senior management of TH are expected to hold a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Haj early next year," he said in a statement.

Syed Saleh said TH would then announce the outcome of the meeting.

Meanwhile, he urged the public to refer to TH to obtain authentic and official information regarding haj pilgrimage.
