No evidence on Vitagen causing stomach cancer: Health Ministry

The Health Ministry yesterday denied claims that the cultured milk drink, VITAGEN can cause stomach cancer in children.
Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya said so far, there were no evidence to support the allegation and stomach cancer usually afflict the elderly.
He was commenting on allegations spread in the social network sites including 'WhatsApp' that the drink could cause stomach cancer, raising fear among the public, especially parents who normally bought the beverage for their children.
