No Malaysian casualty in Flydubai aircraft crash in Russia

No Malaysian casualty was reported in the FZ981 Flydubai aircraft crash in the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia early today, according to Malaysia's Foreign Ministry.
In the crash which occurred at 3.50am (local time), 55 passengers and seven crew members perished.
The ministry, together with the Malaysian Embassy, will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update, as and when it was made available.
The ministry extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved families affected by the tragedy.
According to foreign media reports, the plane which departed from Dubai International Airport missed its runway and crashed during an attempt to land at the Rostov-on-Don Airport.
