No Malaysians affected in Makkah bomb blast - Foreign Ministry
Malaysia strongly condemns the suicide bomb attack in Makkah and it would continue to monitor further developments of the incident through the Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah. -Filepix
No Malaysians are affected by the suicide bomb blast near the Grand Mosque in Makkah yesterday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement today said Malaysia strongly condemns the suicide bomb attack in Makkah and it would continue to monitor further developments of the incident through the Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah.
"This terrorist attack is all the more tragic because it occurred during the month of Ramadan.
"We express our deepest condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Saudi Arabia and the families of the victims of the attack," it said.

Saudi security forces on Friday foiled a suicide attack on the Grand Mosque by cornering the would-be attacker in an apartment, where he blew himself up resulting in injuries to 11 people, five of them Saudi Arabian security forces personnel.
