No Malaysians affected in Zurich attack

The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that no Malaysians were affected in Monday's attack at an Islamic centre in Zurich, Switzerland.
The ministry in a statement on Tuesday said the Malaysian embassy in Berne was in close contact with the local authorities and had provided timely updates to the Malaysian community in the city over the incident.
The attack, reportedly perpetrated by an unknown assailant, has left three persons injured, two of whom sustained serious injuries.

It remains unclear whether the body is related to the shooting at the the Islamic centre, located at Eisgasse 6, near Zurich's central train station.
"The Foreign Ministry extends its sympathies to the families of the victims of the incident," the statement said. - Bernama
