No Malaysians involved in Typhoon Nona - Wisma Putra

Typhoon Nona, which is also known as Typhoon Melor, struck the Philippines on Monday with winds of up to 150 kph (95 mph).
Foreign Ministry today confirmed that no Malaysians were involved in the recent Typhoon Nona that struck central Philippines, especially in the affected province of Samar and Bicol.
In a statement, Wisma Putra advised Malaysians, who are in the Philippines, to register with the Malaysian Embassy in Manila.
“The ministry will continue to monitor the situation and update accordingly,” it said.
Typhoon Nona, which is also known as Typhoon Melor, struck the Philippines on Monday with winds of up to 150 kph (95 mph) that caused hundreds of thousands of people to be evacuated.
