No need to reopen investigation against 1MDB - PAC

There is no need for the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to reopen an investigation against 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), said its chairman Datuk Hasan Arifin.

He said this was because the report was agreed by all PAC members before it was tabled in Parliament April this year.

"The contents of the report published by PAC have also been reported by local and international media," Hasan said in a statement on Monday.

He said that PAC's summary in the report clearly calls for tough action against the management responsible for 1MDB.
