No need to rush for BR1M 2.0

Residents here have been advised not to scramble for the 1Malaysia People's Assistance (BR1M 2.0) as the government had provided sufficient funds for the purpose.

"There is also no necessity to rush as there is ample time for them to claim it," Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar told reporters after presenting BR1M 2.0 to about 5,000 recipients at the old Sarawak state legislative assembly building here today.

Dr Wan Junaidi who is also Santubong MP, said more than 12,000 people in the constituency have registered for the assistance.
