No policeman on duty at Khairy's home during robbery

There was no policeman on duty during the robbery at the home of Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Saturday, said Kuala Lumpur CID chief Datuk Ku Chin Wah.
He said initial investigations showed that there were no security patrols in Jalan Setiabistari Road, Bukit Damansara here, where the house is located, during the incident.
Ku said policemen were scheduled to be stationed there on July 3 (today), but due to the incident, deployment at the minister's home was undertaken the next day (Sunday).
He told this to reporters at the Kuala Lumpur Contingent Police Headquarters (IPKKL), here, today.
He said the police ere now tracking down the trio who robbed minister's home and they had sketches of two suspects based on information from the maid.
In the incident on last Saturday, three men, who had come in a Proton Waja car, entered the house before running off with several laptops and watches when the minister and his wife were not at home and only their maids were around.
