"No reshuffling of the Terengganu exco line-up" - Menteri Besar
AHMAD RAZIF: There will not be a reshuffle of the existing exco line-up.
Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman officially begins his first day in office as Terengganu Menteri Besar.
He is also due to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in Putrajaya to discuss the political developments in the state later today.
Ahmad Razif arrived at the menteri besar’s office in Wisma Darul Iman at 7.45am.
At a news conference held in conjunction with his first day as the state’s new MB, he assured that there will not be a reshuffle of the existing exco line-up.
Just after taking his oath of office on Monday, Ahmad Razif said he was determined to resolve any problems that arose from the political turmoil in Terengganu as soon as possible.
Ahmad Razif, 49, is a two term Seberang Takir assemblyman since 2008 and was also the Terengganu UMNO information chief during the previous term.
He takes over the Menteri Besar’s post from Datuk Seri Ahmad Said who had resigned on Monday.
