No top-up lanes at PLUS highways from Oct 17-19
The top-up facility at 134 lanes at PLUS highways' toll plazas will be closed from Oct 17-19 in conjunction with Deepavali.
Motorists are advised that the topping up facility at 134 top up lanes at toll plazas of PLUS' highways will be ceased from Oct 17-19 in conjunction with the Deepavali celebration.
PLUS managing director, Datuk Azman Ismail said the temporary discontinuation of the facility was to reduce congestion at the toll plazas in view of the increased traffic volume during the period.
However, he said the top up lanes at the Bukit Kayu Hitam and Bangunan Sultan Iskandar toll plazas would be operating as normal on those days.
"Users of PLUS' highways are advised to ensure their cards have sufficient balance before entering the highways. They can top up their cards at 9,200 other locations including ATM machines, 24-hour convenience outlets and also at petrol stations at all PLUS' R
He said this move which was taken during major celebrations earlier had helped reduce congestion at toll plazas and the same would apply in the future (for major holiday breaks). -- Bernama
