Noor Amila's murder: Family member to be charged today

A family member of Noor Amila Edrus Norsham who was found dead last Thursday will be charged in the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court today for allegedly murdering the five-year-old boy.
Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the 26-year-old man would be charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code which carries the mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
He said the four-day remand of the suspect which began on Monday (Aug 15) and extended on Aug 19, would end today.
"The suspect, who is a Malaysian and works as a mechanic, will be charged in the Magistrate's Court tomorrow," he told reporters here on Tuesday.
Noor Amila Edrus was reported missing in Jinjang Utara on Aug 11 before his body was found in an undergrowth in Kampung Kemensah, Hulu Kelang, at 12.30pm last Thursday.
