Nor Azimah Ibrahim, the Malaysian woman reported mising while performing the 'umrah' (minor Haj) in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, is believed to be still in the holy city.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican said the Malaysian Consulate in Jeddah is working closely with the police and investigators in Madinah to track down Azimah.
"This is all the information that I can give for now. The authorities and the ministry will update if more news is received," he told reporters after handing over the keys for the surau of Sekolah Kebangsaan Kepala Batas here, today.
Nor Azimah, 31, from Section 30, Shah Alam, Selangor, went for the 'umrah' with her parents on Dec 11 and was scheduled to return home on Dec 22.

On the day of her disappearance, the single parent was not feeling well and did not follow her parents to visit the Nabawi Mosque.
