Not just young widows, frustrated people are also susceptible to IS - IGP

Frustrated individuals are easier to fall prey and influenced by the Islamic State (IS) propaganda, said Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.

“Based on our evaluations, not only young girls are influenced but anyone buying their idea of the propaganda will become the victim.

“That’s the reason, many among the youngsters and those who are frustrated become influenced by IS propaganda and follow them,”said Khalid in an event at Bukit Aman on Tuesday.
