Nurul Izzah must be more sensitive on matters concerning security - Sabah Umno Youth

State UMNO Youth chief Yamani Hafez Musa said the meeting between Nurul Izzah and Jacel H. Kiram, the daughter of former head of the Sulu armed terrorist group, Jamalul Kiram III, should not have been held.

Yamani Hafez said the irresponsible act of the Lembah Pantai member of Parliament clearly offended families of the victims of the intrusion in Tanduo, Lahad Datu including that of Bernard Then Ted Fen, the kidnapped victim who was beheaded by the Abu Sayyaf group.

"Nurul Izzah should be sensitive on matters concerning national security and sovereignty because they are serious and not merely a game," he told reporters after lodging a police report at the Kota Kinabalu district police headquarters, here on the action by Nurul Izzah.

Jacel had uploaded four photographs dated Nov 9 in her facebook account showing the meeting with Nurul Izzah.

Sabah UMNO Youth also questioned why Nurul Izzah met with Jacel H. Kiram to seek for support in releasing her father, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is serving a jail sentence, whereas Jacel was merely the daughter of the 'self-proclaimed sultan'.

"If she had wanted to solicit for support, she should have met with the right representative of the Philippine government, and not meet with jacel which raised a lot of suspicions," he said.
