Officers holding sensitive posts cannot appeal against transfer - PSD
He said the transfer orders would be issued in about a week, with 50 officers involved for a start.
Appeals against transfer will not be entertained from the 50 officers holding sensitive posts in various ministries who will be involved in a transfer exercise to avoid leakages, said Public Service Department director-general Tan Sri Mohamad Zabidi Zainal.
He said the transfer orders would be issued in about a week, with 50 officers involved for a start.
"More officers will be involved later as this is an ongoing process to rotate the officers," he told reporters after the launch of the 1Serve Transit Lounge@JPA4U here today.
Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Ali Hamsa had announced last Monday that 50 officers holding sensitive posts in various ministries would be transferred internally or to other ministries beginning this month.
He had said that these officers had served for five to 10 years in their positions and handled finance, procurement and contracts.
On 1Serve Transit Lounge@JPA4U, he said the department now provided a waiting room for PSD clients who wanted to use the buggy shuttle to go from Block C10 at Complex C, Putrajaya, to the 1Serve JPA4U counter at Block C2.
"This is a value added service in keeping with the initiative to accord priority and comfort to clients," he said.
Mohamad Zabidi said clients who used the buggy shuttle were allotted six car parking bays at 1Serve Transit Lounge@JPA4U on a first-come first-serve basis.
