The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and United Nations (UN) have been urged to immediately intervene to stop Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians in Gaza.
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said the attacks by the inhumane Zionist regime of Israel had caused the death of many Palestinians including innocent children and women, and must therefore be halted.
He said more than 120 Palestinians had reportedly been killed and hundreds of others injured and homes destroyed by the Israeli air strikes and artillery attacks.
"Only the intervention of the UN, OIC and the big powers like the United States can stop the aggression on Palestine land and its people in Gaza. However, we regret that the two world organisations have done nothing to end the attacks."
Adnan said this to reporters after handing out electrical appliances worth over RM148,000 contributed by Yayasan Belia Felda to several mosques and surau at Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque at Simpang Pelangai, Bentong, yesterday.
He said the disunity among the Arab nations and their selfishness had made Israel bolder and meaner by occupying Palestinian land and committing atrocities against the Palestinians.
Adnan said although the Palestinians held demonstrations and processions against Israeli attacks, these would not bring any change to the Zionist regime without the support of other nations.
