A family member of a patient at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital (HTAA), here, suffered minor injuries when parts of the ceiling in the hospital ward collapsed today.
According to a source who is an employee of the hospital, the incident occurred in ward 6C late Monday afternoon.
"Yes, parts of the ceiling indeed collapsed, but it fell on the walkway near the middle of the ward and not on a patient.
“A family member of a patient was slightly injured in the incident. All of the patients in the ward were not affected," said the source.
A Facebok status update of the incident went viral Monday.
